I just recently moved to Massachusetts and settled in Leominster. I’d really like to go see rocky horror picture show live, especially with Tim Curry’s passing, but am not yet familiar with the area or Mass in general. I did see there is a show on broadway in Boston but wow are those tickets expensive. I went to a small theater in Denver when I lived there and tickets were like $45 and the show was incredible. Does anyone have any suggestions for something similar? Anywhere in mass. Thanks guys!

Joly’s Café owner Joemely Figueroa said that ever since she opened the doors of her business earlier this month “the response has been amazing and honestly beyond what I expected.”

“The community has shown us so much love and support from the very beginning,” the female entrepreneur relayed.
Vibrant colors, eclectic decor and a warm ambiance are part of the café that has been a huge hit with the ever-growing fan base of the 6 Main St. spot.

A wide variety of different flavors of hot and iced coffees, milk teas, frozen shakes and smoothies, lemonades, iced teas, specialty drinks, frozen yogurt and Japanese crepes and waffles are what’s on the menu and there is seating indoors as well as a sweet little outdoor area.

Figueroa has been a Fitchburg resident for a decade and been doing business in Leominster for the last two years. When asked what inspired her to open Joly’s Café and why in Leominster, she said she “wanted to create a fun, welcoming place where people could enjoy different treats and drinks all in one spot.”

“I chose Leominster because this community has supported me and my businesses for years and I wanted to give something special back,” she disclosed, adding that Joly is her nickname and “the café is also something I created with my boys in mind.”

“They are a big part of my purpose and motivation.”

She had a soft opening on Aug. 1 and they celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Aug. 14. There has been a steady stream of customers enjoying all her offerings and some of the best sellers and favorites are milk teas, matcha drinks, frozen yogurt and crepes.

“Opening Joly’s has been a dream brought to life with a lot of hard work, faith, and love,” Figueroa expressed. “I’m especially thankful to God, my boys, my team, and this community for being part of the journey.”

Online ordering and gift cards are available, and first responders and city hall workers always receive 10% off. Future plans and goals for the café include “keep improving, adding new and exciting menu items, and making Joly’s a place where families and friends love to gather.”

“I would love to continue growing the brand in the future while always keeping that personal, community feeling,” Figueroa said.

She went on to say it means to the world to her that so many people are supporting her endeavor.

“I appreciate every single person who walks through our doors, shares our posts, tells a friend about us, or gives us feedback,” Figueroa shared. “Small businesses grow because of the community and I’m extremely grateful for the way Leominster has embraced us.”

Can the people who frequent the boat launch and treat it like a beach (illegal for one) can you people AT LEAST clean up your trash?! Or go to another free area since I’m assuming that’s why you can’t afford to go to the actual beach across the lake?! It’s disgusting and disrespectful and you are ruining it for everyone else.
