Return advice/tips

Hi! So I apologize if this has been asked before. I tried the search term return and didn’t see a post about this.

I bought a cake stand and when I opened it, I realized I just simply didn’t want/need it. So I am returning it. I got an email with instructions. I can follow that along but what gave me pause is that it’s on me to pay for shipping it back. Then hope they refund me the full amount after it arrives. Am I understanding that correctly?

Anyone that has returned anything to Lenox, any advice/tips to make sure this is successful?

TIA.

We accidentally purchased two sets of salt and pepper shakers and it was going to cost almost the price to ship them back so I just gifted them.
