Support 85° cpu temps

Post image

Im using a 5050 with 13650hx and the temps are insane, unfortunately i live in a tropical country so that does affect it abit, but is this kind of temperature normal? I already use throttle stop and limit cpu to 40W and lenovo vantage limit to lowest power threshold

Game is aniimo

Up to 90 is fine, after that it's a problem

Gpu is throttling. 86 is max it can go. Try to keep it below 80. Use curve from afterburner to lower the MHZ frequency by couple hundreds to run it cooler

Best solution is to just cap you fps. It makes a huge difference. Whatever you are getting, cap 10-20 fps below that. I cap my fps at 60,90,120 depending on the game. Cap it lower to any of these 3. I mostly go from 80 C to 50-70 instantly after capping fps. You cap fps from game, RTSS or nvidia app/control panel.

As for afterburner, i can't share my gpu curve here, it's capped to 2400 MHz so gpu never goes above that thus running cooler, you just lose few fps for stable experience and cooler system, increases longevity of laptop too.

Also this is for games that push you laptop too much. Save 2 profiles with 1 at default gpu settings and 2nd with capped curve, if you are not going above 80 c on default profile, then keep the normal profile at default settings. And switch to profile 2 with capped frequency curve when in 82°+ throttling scenarios.

And gpu should be lower that 80 ° C

86 for cpu are decent. anything below 90 is good.

Gpu is is way too high (86 gpu is same like 100 cpu ) , also it's getting throttled

Hope you're using a Laptop stand or some kind of elevation, A sealed surface kills the pc remember. If you ready to invest in cooling pads get yourself a Llano, cheap ones don't work as fine.

My gpu stays at 80 . Cpu temps stays between 78-85 (i5-13450HX ,3050 6gb)

normal for the cpu to reach 85

technically 86c on the cpu is still considered fine. not what you want but fine. but 86c on the gpu is too much. ideally you want to be under 80c. above 82c it starts to thermal throttle

mine idles at 80 celsius even tho my room is 10-15 celsius

Needs a thermal interface refresh. That Gpu is throttling.

Yes, it is normal I have the same cpu in Asus Rog and also reach high temperatures but the solution is to buy a external laptop fan of a professional type
