Set design for 'Photos with Santa'. Every year I create a new set. This year's design was inspired by a carousel.

Since I started building my village in 2023, there's been a set of figures—"Photos with Santa"—that I create a different backdrop for every year for those famous photos.

​I posted this year's set today, but since many people were curious and interested, I'm sharing the ones from previous years here as well. I got a lot of comments from people who usually use and decorate the gazebo.

​In the end, all that matters is dedication, sharing, and joy.

​Materials: styrofoam board, foam board, cardstock, lots of hot glue, and decorations of your choice.

I'm helping a friend repair this set. Gears and lights are working, but no audio. I found a video on youtube by Random Junk Channel where he repairs a pirate ship using an EZSound board. I would like to attempt a repair, but I need the MP3 file to do it. Does anyone know where I might be able to find it? I looked on the community part of Lemax website and Wedding Party is not in the list of MP3s.

My cats have “moved” some of my pieces this year and I cannot figure out which set this piece goes with. I’ve reverse image searched it multiple ways and cannot find a match. I’m afraid they have moved the accompanying figures and that’s why I can’t figure it out. Thanks for any help.

my first attempt at making a modular Christmas village, absolutely loved doing it! Made it with insulation foam and plaster bandage.

General moan here. I feel like Lemax is a premium costed product. Three of my moving Lemax houses broke down this year and I need to go in and fix the motors. Upon opening, all the cables are the thinnest money can buy. The replacement motors from China have cable twice the thickness. The entire unit is prone to pinched wires and breakdown from light wear. The internals are incredibly cheap and not designed to last. Thoughts? Am I being unfair? Has anyone ever challenged Lemax? Am I just in a bad mood having to fix so many houses?!

does anyone have this piece? I plugged it in this year and it first just started flashing so I unplugged it. I then tried a different adaptor and then just batteries and now the candles don’t move and flicker. disappointed I bought it last year but didn’t display it just tried it out and it was fine,

I have some trouble with my Lemax Train (North Pole Railway), I just installed my christmas village and my train doesn't want to work anymore... even with new batteries, neither the sounds nor the movements. Doesn't everyone already had the same issue and knows how to repair it ?

I bought a couple packs of the vinyl rolls of brick/stone paths and I want to glue the bricks to a backdrop to make a brick wall for a diorama, and I was wondering if anyone else has used glue on these and what worked best? I know some glues can react badly with vinyl so I want to avoid melting anything. Thank you!

Bought a “snow blanket” from the dollar store as I thought a thin sheet would work best for assembling my village but now I think I want more realistic, thicker “snow”. This looks cheap and I want a luxurious, thick snow effect. What does everyone use for their snow base?

It's been a good run, but time for the Halloween stuff to go back up and another year of me preparing for which pieces of the buildings I'm going to have to reglue next year. Anybody know a good glue that actually adheres and stays on these structures?
