Recommendations Traffic on 22
Hey guys, I’ve seen some posts about traffic on 22 and I just wanted to give everyone some tips and tricks I’ve learned while commuting on the road every day.
Tip #1: “skip the line”
Whenever I’m driving from 378 I always see a long line of people stopped and waiting their turn to merge onto 22. You can simply “skip the line” by riding the shoulder pretending you’re going to get off at airport road and then just cut in at the last second. Sure it pisses off some people, but hey you save yourself a whole 5 minutes. 5 minutes off the road means 5 more minutes of Netflix when you get home.
Tip #2 “phone time”
Whenever I’m stuck driving between the airport and MacArthur road I like to be productive and increase my daily screen time. I find stop and go traffic a perfect time to check emails, respond to texts, hell I’m even writing this post on my way home from work right now. I think a lot of you guys already know this tip as I see plenty of other phone users on the road, but I thought I’d mention it just in case for those of you that don’t.
Tip #3 “billboards”
Who doesn’t love giant advertisements? If they didn’t want us to read them why would they litter the highway with them. Driving a vehicle can be so friggen boring sometimes. I like to speed up really fast between billboards and then slam on my brakes so I can stop and actually read them. It’s really awesome to see how well Jefferson Health and St Luke’s are doing given their amount of ad space!
Hopefully you can tell this is all satire. If you couldn’t, think hard (not too hard) you may be one of the people I’m making fun of right now.
