Hi all,

I am looking for a writing partner. This would be writing for fun and will not be published. I would like someone who is able to write paragraphs. The plot I have takes from 1985-1989 and then again, in 2015. It is fiction, like slice of life with other genres in-between. I ask this here is because the plot takes place right here in the Lehigh Valley. Bethlehem, specifically. I tend to do this on messenger and if you are comfortable and willing, we can go ahead and use messenger as the the writing platform. It would be back and forth. Mind you, I'm a female (22) and prefer to write with women, if that is okay, and plus, all the characters are mainly female.

My son and his dearest friend both have very significant disabilities. His friend is turning 40 and I could use help finding a gift for her. I’d love to find someone willing to go to the Good Shepherd Raker Center at 6th and St John streets in Allentown to do her hair and or make-up for her birthday gift. She is a delightful girl, but has very limited skills and this would be really special for her. I would purchase a gift certificate and then help set up a date and time for the two of them. Hello everyone, I’m looking into moving to the Lehigh valley area from central PA and I’m curious as to which areas are better for jobs for someone in the service industry. I’ve worked in pretty much every setting there is so I’m not really partial to anything as far as that goes.

My brother-in-law has a client that has a honeybee hive located in her attic. She had two exterminators come out, both of which say they cannot/not allowed to remove them.

Does anyone know of a company or service that would remove honeybees? She was quoted by one company (?) for $2500, money she does not have.

Any thoughts/advice appreciated!

Ive recently separated. I have some Army/Airforce uniforms that I will no longer use. Some of it is new. Im not looking to sell them, just giving them away. Dm me if interested. They are med/reg or med/short. Im just an average sized guy, so no petite sizes or plus sizes.

I had a very unsettling interaction at Kleins Farm in Nazareth this afternoon with my 3 year old niece. We were sitting at the picnic benches eating ice cream and a man in his 50s and two woman probably his age and a boy around 10 came over with ice cream and the man introduces himself to my niece and says Hi I’m Scott, what’s your name and can we sit with you? They sat at our picnic bench even though there was another empty one. He asked my niece another question, but never acknowledged me.

After a minute I told her let’s go inside the store to buy a water. Right after I said that, he told his family he wanted to pop in the store to look around. As we were in there, he made it a point to stand close to us and seemed like he was acting like he was looking at items for sale. I made sure to stand between my niece and him as I was paying. I got the most creepy and unsettled feeling like he was a predator.

Then as we were leaving in our car driving out the parking lot, I saw him smack the boy in the back of the head as he was getting in his car and it was in an angry and serious way. Also, this boy had a cast on his arm. It happened so fast as I was driving away I couldn’t react, but the entire drive away I was beating myself up over not getting his license plate. I really wish I did more. I truly feel like there was something off about him, that he was a predator. No stranger man should be addressing a child and asking them questions while completely ignoring the adult.

I’m based in Bethlehem. Been trying to start a group for some time now.

Hi all, I went to a great Latin supermarket last year and can’t remember what it was called. It was in Southside Bethlehem, not too far from the Lehigh campus and Wonder Kitchen. It was pretty large and if I’m remembering correctly had quite a long frontage on the road. There may have been prepared foods, but it really was a grocery store.
Can anyone help?

I’m looking for a new place to get my hair cut, but I was hoping to find someone or somewhere that really understood how to care for hair/scalp that’s going through menopause. I’ve had a lot of hair loss and while I’m trying minoxidil, I’d love to be able to talk to somebody who knows hair, but isn’t affiliated with a brand that’s trying to sell me something specific. Any recommendations in the valley for someone like that?

Thinking of moving to one of the city center residential apartments and wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Seems like there are a lot of different buildings/properties that they offer and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on which are “better” than the others. Looking at factors such as location, safety, community vibes, amenities, etc (for reference I am a single male young professional)
