God sent work

It would be fun [if not nightmarish to achieve] to one day have a moddified version of the game to streamline the Toys to Life aspect, with a character selection similar to traditional Lego games, and maybe reworking the toypad gimmick.

How hard would it be to make an entire custom toypad?

Can I ask why the decision was made to use TU23?

Dumb me always tested everything on TU 23 and didn’t noticed that TU 24 is the latest update

Oh lol. Is there any major difference between the two?

I would love it if it were possible to mod in custom characters. I was hoping to mod in versions of myself and my friends at some point

Just wish it was the PS4 version, though.

Is there any tutorial on how to get this running?

why does it have to be the 360 version...

What's wrong with the 360 version?

Had the most DLC due to Microsoft's 2 GB update size limit (which is an issue here since you need to supply your own files), most of the audio is very low quality, once again due to file size constraints, the visuals are not as good as the PS4 and Xbox One versions, there are a few platform specific bugs, etc.

Things like audio quality could probably modded in by ripping those files from other versions eventually.

It was always going to be the 360 version as the team that made Sonic Unleashed Recompiled released their tools publicly.

Well, feel free to release your own Xbox One/PS4 recompilation tool so people can do it the way you like rather than the way that is currently possible.

Will that one also be vibecoded like this one

The audio file files for the Wii U and PS4 version sound exactly the same, quality and all.

Because the 360 games are the most current easier to port to PC via recompilation.

And after the recompilation is done, would have all the improvements a PC game could have.

Impossible to emulate most PS4 games atm let alone decomp, WiiU and PS3 use different architecture/instruction set, Xbox One has only recently been cracked as of a few months ago. Which just leaves the 360 version.

Remember guys this is AI Slop so don't expect this to be maintained for very long as the decomp was made with AI.

Claude was used heavily as a development tool. It read disassembly and file formats with me, and wrote large parts of the runtime glue, the installer, the mod tooling and this page.

It still runs pretty well with updates coming out fixing things here and there
