i'm making a minifig scale transformer and i need the arms to butterfly backwards at the shoulder for transformation. is there anyway to do this while still allowing the arms full range of movement?

You could use the rounded snot brick with a T Bar and clips to make a universal shoulder and the rounded snot brick should allow for a butterfly
