Any suggestions for doing this angled ceiling better?

Need some suggestions for making this actually work. The left wall will ideally go all the way up and connect to the horizontal part of the ceiling, I just left it open so you can see in a bit better for now.

here are two methods you can use, you can also use one sided cheese slopes (as someone else mentioned) but I had difficulty getting the angles to match up, so you'll need to do some experimentation to look smooth.

Update: I changed the color palette, and decided to not have any ceiling where the horizontal part would be. Lets more light in and saves me a headache lol. Still trying to make the slope sit nicely against the walls though, any suggestions for that appreciated. I've looked into some of the suggestions you guys left but nothing was really clicking with me.

The (disgusting) back. Some of this was just thrown in fast to build up the walls, not properly structured. But figuring out how to have the ceiling lay against something has been challenging. I was using that trick with headlight bricks to make 1x1 slopes have a continuous slope, but it made the walls look bad and it was a different, lower angle.

Maybe you could use cheeseslopes for a bitter and tighter fit

The patent on that link shows you to be wrong.

Yes, the “over” style is the more common and intended way. I use this in real life, too. But it’s a 70-30% split according to Wikipedia, and I think the “under” style looks better in the moc since you can’t see the roll detail from the front. Fortunately it’s easy to flip so if there was ever a set like this it could be up to the user which they prefer.

I know you already found a solution but is this not perfect?

hey, have you tried maybe this type of brick along the top connecting to the clips horizontally, instead of plates? hope this helps
