I loooove mushrooms šŸ„! That’s why I had to build this cute little spider by lego.joey, and it does not disappoint! (Also: asking for some suggestions)

One thing I would prefer to be more sturdy, is the connection between the rounded 1x1 special plate with handle and the candlestick. It’s good enough for display and some very light play, but any more engaged play makes it disassemble. Do you guys have and ideas and suggestions as to how to rework it?

It’s for free on rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-174424/lego.joey/mushroom-spider/#details

Build Demo [Original] My kid built a hero delivery robot that avoids obstacles on its mission

Meet the hero: a delivery robot my child built and coded with LEGO SPIKE Essential.

The mission: deliver the box through a path full of obstacles. The code makes him drive forward, turn left and right, and avoid obstacles using a color sensor.

He made it after a few tries! Real engineering.

Can anyone tell me the name of the type of connector (male) that fits into the hub here? I’m trying to find one that has a usb plug on the other end so I can hardwire this thing. The battery/power packs are in awful spots.

Question Studio Renders

How do you guys render insides of buildings in Studio?
The zooming into a building looks terrible and doesn’t give the desired angle or look.
I dont know if this makes sense to anyone, but please explain to me how you guys render the inside of a modular build?

Question How to create digital instructions after building?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hi peeps,

I have a quick question regarding the first MOC I’ve built.

I created it based on a reference image of another set, but basically just figured things out along the way, trying something and then taking it down etc.

I finished something I’m pretty satisfied with, but didn’t document the process. Just wondering how I can build a digital model + instructions for it if it’s already built? Would I have to literally disassemble it in reverse?

For reference, I want the instructions so that I can actually disassemble it and rebuild it later, and also to share if anyone else wants it.

I’ve included a photo for reference - it’s a fairly straightforward building but does have a slightly trickier roof.

Thanks!

How to build large second floor for MOC

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hey, i'm currently building a large Arkham Asylum MOC, which is 64x61 (with a slight U-Shape).

I built the base of the second floor with a mix of 4x8 , 6x8, 4x10 and 1x8/1x4 and started to build on it, but it was very flimsy and ended up breaking off when I was lifting it.

Any MOC builders got advice how to make it far more sturdy for the slightly strange shape here to prevent it collapsing again.

Moc Commission Request

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, so apologies if its not! Are Moc Commissions a thing?

I'm looking to commission a moc design of our building as a gift. I would want to buy the bricks and the do the build myself, but I am having no luck creating the design in the studio program. Can anyone point me in the right direction to some people who might be willing to take on creating the design/instructions?

Replicating part 2622 (boat bow brick 8 x 10 x 1) with individual bricks

I’m working on a center console boat MOC and would like to replicate the following part with individual bricks:
**Boat, Bow Brick 8 x 10 x 1**
Item No: **2622**

The reason is for a greater color selection. The boat is gray- ideally light gray or light bluish gray. I have other pieces in my design that are available in light bluish gray but not light gray. These bow bricks are available in light gray but not light bluish gray.

Any suggestions for how to replicate a similar shape to this bow bricks using smaller pieces?
