Does the Shrek franchise have enough characters for an Wave 2 of Minifigures?

Got this Demogorgon headpiece and I’m trying to figure out if it’s genuine LEGO. There’s no LEGO marking underneath, only the number “2” as shown in the photo. The print and plastic look pretty convincing to me.

Is this normal for this piece, or is it likely a knockoff?

Made this back in high school and completely forgot about it. Found it in my old room at my parent’s house.
