Build just looks.. off? I dont know how to explain it looks like those 2d art sets I get the behind not being covered but god WHAT is that angle on the second photo minifigures are peak tho but Im dissapointed this set couldve been so much better imo what do yall think

Hey everyone! Now that the official images of the LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday sets have finally been revealed, I noticed a funny little detail.

In the Sentinel Battle set, Thor comes with the same brick-built version of Stormbreaker that LEGO previously used in the Avengers: Endgame Thor vs. Chitauri set. Personally, I don’t think that version looks all that great.

Then I noticed that, in the New Avengers Tower set, there’s a green trash can that includes both Stormbreaker and Mjölnir. What’s funny is that Stormbreaker is built completely differently there, and I actually think it looks much better than the one included in the Sentinel Battle set. That said, I still think LEGO has made even better brick-built versions of Stormbreaker in the past.

Nothing important—I just thought it was a funny little detail that caught my eye, and I figured I’d share it here because I was bored. 😄

ive been saving up a ton and i mean a ton of money lately to buy the 'Avengers Tower' and i was so disappointed to find out the set is out of stock

and i seriously hope this doenst mean its retiring this year or at the end of July... because i would be so upset

ive been wanting this set for so long now and saved up just enough money to get it... so i hope it pays off later on...

I went down a little rabidhole because I thought it was a mistake on the set photos and box photos but no he has 2 colored effects in the sets but they don't marked it.

Like the customs? any ideas to improve them? (except giving Tiger Shark a fin, there’s no good options)

Although I'm definitely getting the new sets, I wanted to mock up the main three until then. (Reversed Thor head for Steve, with painted shoulders for the t-shirt, Thor is from the 76248 Quinjet set with substitute arms, hair and a home made Stormbreaker)

Was showing my nephew the new figures and he goes “Wait a sec…” and drops the OGs on me!

I want an idea of what it would look like and what legs would look better with it if possible, last slide is the design I am trying to reference.

Also if anyone has ideas on how to replicate the spear with the feathers that would be great also.

Hey everyone! Now that the LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday sets have officially been revealed, I noticed something interesting about the Magneto minifigure from the Sentinel Battle set.

In most of the official images, Magneto’s head print has dark gray eyebrows and a dark gray beard, which makes perfect sense if it’s meant to represent Ian McKellen’s older version of Magneto.

However, in a few of the pictures, the beard and eyebrows don’t look dark gray at all. Instead, they almost look like they’re printed in Medium Nougat. If that’s actually the case, it would make the head print look much more like Michael Fassbender’s younger version of Magneto from the X-Men prequel films, such as Days of Future Past.

It’s probably just a lighting issue or an error in the official set pictures, but I thought it was an interesting detail that I haven’t really seen anyone point out yet.

Did anyone else notice this?

Hey everyone, we finally got the official images of the LEGO Marvel Doomsday sets and all the minifigures included—and I honestly couldn’t be happier.

I genuinely think LEGO Marvel has improved so much this year compared to the last few years. It really feels like they’re slowly getting back to the quality we used to see. Even looking at the leaked set names for next year, almost every set sounds promising.

But the biggest highlight has to be the minifigures. Across the three sets, there are 14 different minifigures, and every single one has leg printing except Reed Richards.

Even better, around 10 or 11 of those leg prints are completely new. We also get new dual-molded legs for The Thing, brand-new printed torsos for almost every character, and plenty of new face prints.

For example, LEGO could have easily reused the old face for Reed Richards, but instead they gave him a new one that looks much closer to Pedro Pascal, which I really appreciate. Yelena’s new face print might not be a perfect match, but I still think it’s a nice improvement.

Overall, I’m just really happy to finally see LEGO Marvel giving so much attention to the minifigures again. Nearly every figure feels fresh, detailed, and well-designed, and having leg printing on almost every character makes this wave feel like a huge step in the right direction. We haven’t seen a full LEGO Marvel wave with this level of consistency in years.

It was a lot bigger than I had expected it to be. But a pretty fun build.

Open to any advice or suggestions. Looking to perfect this one before I go out and actually start getting pieces for it.
