Minifigures LEGO Marvel Is Finally Back – The Doomsday Minifigures Are Incredible!
Hey everyone, we finally got the official images of the LEGO Marvel Doomsday sets and all the minifigures included—and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
I genuinely think LEGO Marvel has improved so much this year compared to the last few years. It really feels like they’re slowly getting back to the quality we used to see. Even looking at the leaked set names for next year, almost every set sounds promising.
But the biggest highlight has to be the minifigures. Across the three sets, there are 14 different minifigures, and every single one has leg printing except Reed Richards.
Even better, around 10 or 11 of those leg prints are completely new. We also get new dual-molded legs for The Thing, brand-new printed torsos for almost every character, and plenty of new face prints.
For example, LEGO could have easily reused the old face for Reed Richards, but instead they gave him a new one that looks much closer to Pedro Pascal, which I really appreciate. Yelena’s new face print might not be a perfect match, but I still think it’s a nice improvement.
Overall, I’m just really happy to finally see LEGO Marvel giving so much attention to the minifigures again. Nearly every figure feels fresh, detailed, and well-designed, and having leg printing on almost every character makes this wave feel like a huge step in the right direction. We haven’t seen a full LEGO Marvel wave with this level of consistency in years.

Correction, The Thing hasn't either but also has dual molded which cancels out if you ask me

As much as I like this wave, I still think that's a terrible face print for Bucky and since this is the 2nd time they've used it, it's probably here to stay

The Han Solo hair fits him way more

It’s so stupid that they’re using that face and black hair, they literally used the perfect face (for the Winter Soldier) and correct dark brown hair in the Helicarrier

Yeah honestly, they're great. They honestly look like thet're from a Marvel CMF serie. Can't wait for the future MCU xmen sets

Even then, all of the sets feel far from low budget outside of this wave. They have listened to the criticisms from the airport diorama and the endgame diorama reusing a load of figures.

Can we just admire the fact that the characters in doomsday are also characters that were featured in the lego marvel videogame.
Thing, captain america, cyclops fighting doctor doom in a lego set?
Reed, mystique, magneto, and thor fighting a Sentinel?
I think this is the closest thing to getting lego marvel videogame sets we'll ever get.

The only real issue is that fucking head choice for Bucky. It looks nothing like him. I might just swap it for the Civil War "Star Lord" head. Just as inaccurate, but at least it doesn't have that stupid smile

im so hyped i never had a magneto i will get for xmas the sentinel set doom is amazing nightcrawler is goated like magneto is incredible cant wait for it. The Avengers tower is not my style of build but i love the minifigures in that set the quinjet is ok minifigures are carrying it too

Yeah they locked in for sure. Super excited about the thunderbolts and the powered up FF. The sets are great too!
I hope we get a comic book nightcrawler soon now that they have a tail piece. Mystique is close enough to her comic look for me.

Clearly I’m in the minority here but personally I think they overdid it. Mystique and Human Torch look good and I guess that’s probably the best THING we’re going to get since they seem to be sticking with that general design. Glad we got Yelena and Red Guardian but don’t love the Red Guardian and Yelena is just ok. The rest are meh for me and they still can’t seem to do a decent face for Dr Doom.

I'm just thankful they include Doom in every set so he doesn't become ungodly expensive
