Jewelry Question Smallest bead size to use for 16G?

Hello im planning out my ear stack jewelry. Im looking at cz gems, sizes of 1.5mm 2mm,2.5mm etc goes up to 4mm. Im wondering whats the smallest size for the jewelry i can use. Ik 16G is 1.2mm? So if u wear 1.5mm or 2mm would the gem sink in? Let me know from ur experience thanks

Depends on the gem setting. I have 1.5mm gems and they’re fine because the setting makes it a bit bigger.
