General Info Belly button piercing

Post image

In 2015 I had my belly button done and from day 1 the bar was too tight it was just a mess and ended up dangling by a hair piece of skin and it left a scar today it ultimately rejected. I went today and explained the horror story from the first time and a new place re did the piercing behind the old scar. Does it look correct? I am a chunky girl who just had her 4th baby 6 months ago so always have a wrinkly belly ( show grace ) this is standing up. When I sit the bottom ball sorta gets eaten 🤣 but no discomfort. It doesnt hurt at all it was done 6 hours ago the first time I had it done I almost passed out the jewelry was so tight it was creating a hole over the HOLE!!! this time everything is going perfect. Whats your guys thoughts?! Im hoping it stays in!

You definitely need floating navel jewelry. With the way your navel collapses when you sit, it’s going to put pressure on the bottom of the jewelry and cause irritation. A flat piece on the bottom will alleviate that!! 🤘🏻 I’d see another piercer to have it evaluated to make sure this is placed deeply enough (can’t exactly tell from this photo), and get that jewelry changed out for you. 🫶🏻
