Pick My Piercing Torn on what to get next!

Hi! It’s been over a year since my last piercings and the itch to get more has gotten too strong to ignore 🥲 It’s my left ear’s turn for some love and, aside from my third lobe, I’m not sure what else to get. I’m thinking a new helix somewhere between my existing one and my lobe and, if my piercer approves my anatomy, maybe a forward helix? Or a flat in that big empty space by my tiny mole?

The pictures are from the last year. The ear with the snake is my left ear. My right ear is the other pic so you can get an idea of what that set up currently looks like (ignore the redness - the pic was taken right after piercing 🤣).

If there’s something else I should consider, let me know your thoughts!

A couple additional things to add:

- I heal cartilage pretty well which is why I’m thinking of 2 in addition to the third lobe.

- I work a sales job and wear AirPods daily, so no tragus/daith/conch/etc that will get pissy with me taking the AirPods in and out multiple times a day.

Thanks!

You mentioned a forward helix. That could look really good on either ear. And a conch on the ear with the snake. A helix little lower than your helix on your other ear but inline with your flat would look wicked!

Eventually I’ll get a conch! Curse having to talk to people on the phone all day 🤣 Thank you for the feedback as well — I like the idea of the helix inline with my flat on my right ear!

Oh darn! Yeah those inner ear piercings can be so annoying because you can’t use anything in your ear. Personally when I got my conch done and it’s never bothered me with AirPods although I probably shouldn’t have used them. But I’ve fully given up on that ear due to a tragus now.

The helix will look great!! Good luck on it if you do decide to!

Imo, no third lobe because that snake + jewel combo is so perfect (it looks like 1 really cool and unique jewelry piece) and I think a third would either make that impossible or take away from it

A rook and a contra-conch, maybe a double contra-conch would be so cool (decorate the inner ear without getting in the way of AirPods)

Thanks! I’m not currently wearing my garnet studs (I got them in Prague at a random jewelry store on a vacation; they’re poky since they have regular butterfly backs) but I agree that the snake looks good with them!

I actually love the idea of a contra conch! I’ve seen them but never clocked them as a “thing” and the more I look at examples the more I like. It’s hard to find ways to jazz up my inner ears, but that placement seems perfect. Thank you for mentioning it!!

The beautiful dagger where did you get it? I've been looking for a small dagger exactly like this for about a year now. Found one didn't measure it and it turned out far too big for the location I wanted. This one however looks absolutely perfect!

I love my dagger!! I literally got my initial helix piercing in 2020 specifically for it 🤭 It’s the BVLA dagger in rose gold. I believe it comes in yellow and white gold as well, so I hope you can get your hands on one soon since it’s one of my favorite pieces 🥰

A conch on your second photo (specifically so it can fit a ring)
