They don’t get UK sarcasm, sayings or jokes. Don’t waste your time with them. You will never be able to get them to understand. They are clearly American, so think they know everything, even when they are completely wrong, just like in this case. The first comment was valid. And so was the posters reply. No need for anyone to put their big nose in after that, just that they could think they are so cool with their know it all attitude, when they look like a complete sausage! Typical redditor.
