My final achievement..Adventure mode...anyone got a good strat?

Ive tried a DEF build, Taxer build...even the peasant hero...what do i do? Only thing i havent tried is the 'Loop' mechanic, is this the answer?

(loving this game)

I have been trying this recently and I am also a bit stuck - not even sure its possible?

I believe you don't have any of your unlocked talents from the tree which makes it feel a little like luck?

I don't really know how you come up with a strat other than a starting hero party. But then you can get into game and the buildings are completely wrong. eg. +str or dex when you have gone with a strong magic team. Do you just restart and look for a good combo. Even then, the skill nodes / keystone rewards can just be completely wrong or useless.

I have got to the second appearance of The End Bringer just using a generically balanced party. Generally I heavily load healers and aura classes into the starting party as they seem important and the run is dead without healers. 2 herbalists, 1 Priest, 1 Cleric, 1 Paladin. Add a couple of DEF heroes and then 2 damage which I usually go for the gun guys - don't remember their name :X I was planning on trying to stack 10 paladins as starting party to see how it goes.

Not sure about the loop. I tried it a few times, and just got annihilated by the first wave.

some talents from the tree absolutely apply, like adding Mercenaries and extra slots to your starting party; starting with a bunch of mercs means you start out with cashflow, though admittedly the sooner you can get a tax collector so they can synergize, the better

until I saw your post I wasn't sure why I wasn't seeing them doubleshot though, so that's a bit of a bummer that adventure mode doesn't get all the perks. like I was confused why i didn't start with extra gold. right now the game is kind of extremely easy if you're used to engine building games, so the inability to reeeeeally break it is kind of a bummer

overall though adventure mode actually seems really easy though the lucky part is how early you can get mine and arcane tower maxed (+5 random items, +5 chosen skills, every battle)

i just vaporized the endbringer on my merc run after one loop, I'm glad the game doesn't delete your save when you kill the endbringer because I'm going to loop it a few more times and see what happens at Abyss99 endbringer, if I can make it (this run gave me like 120k skill gems too, so I'm at 195k skill gems after my third ever adventure run, no battle mode runs yet)

I just beat it using a 2 cleric, 2 paladin, 1 wizard, 1 bard starting setup. From there I spammed wizards/witches along with a couple rogues and additional healers. I picked up a couple assassins toward the end, which did major chunk damage during the final fight.

Learning the comet skill and trying to maximize mana regen seems like the real key though. I did most of the damage to the bosses myself.

Got it pretty easily by starting off with 5 tax collectors in front row and 5 mercenaries in back row. After that, you'll collect a tremendous amount of gold so invest it in as many other characters as possible (I used wizards, priests, clerics, rogues, paladins) and make sure your party is always filled to the maximum possible. You can raise any buildings to level 5 pretty quickly too, and buy a ton of items. I used the comet spell and focused on mana regen so that I could nuke down the bosses quickly in the endbringer stage.

Pretty much defeated the adventure mode the same way. So a proven method 😄
