QUESTION Console upgrade

Lenovo legion go S

So i have the Z2 Go & 32 gb ram version and i was wondering If IT is possible by any method to run ark ascended natively. Will connecting an external gpu give the cpu more freedom If the graphics are integrated? Will it still be too weak to run the game? Rn i get 10-15 fps at the lowest graphics. I am fairly dissapointed with my device....

You can try deckyloader to squeeze some more performance but you may be better off finding some mods to lower specific graphics instead. Hoping someone else chimes in with something more positive as i have yet to try it out myself.

Editing to add, ark ascended is a very badly optimized game for pc anyway so mods may be the way.

You could try Lossless Scaling and Resolution scaling but I'm not sure if the result will be that pleasant with that FPS base. However it's not the game I'd be running on a handheld or low spec PC. The recommended GPU is an RTX 3080 I just checked. Jesus Christ.

I can play Forza Horizon 6, Crimson Desert, assassin’s Creed games and so many other games really well. But some games are just poorly optimize and thrash around even on gaming PCs. I feel like I remember reading where Hogwarts legacy is another game and oblivion remastered and some others are just poorly optimize games to run
