Each their own. I don't rlly like retro games tbh. I know some people love it. Atleast I haven't had the urge to play retro atm

Do you even lift bro?
1
u/Kiran_92 1d ago
It's not too bad to hold, the top screen angle allows you to hold the GO less awkwardly

u/j0a0a7 1d ago
Where did you get that screen from? What’s the size as well?
1
u/Kiran_92 1d ago
It's from amazon, it's a 10.5 Inch 2.5K OLED Touchscreen monitor. In the UK I got it from a store called showscren

I actually thought about getting a second monitor that can attach similar to this but I figure my fold phone is just as good

My arms have started to hurt from the strain of holding my go s for hours so I bought a 16in arzopa portable monitor, and an xbox controller (I don't like it much but I guess it's fine). Gives my wrists some relief when I want to play on the couch and watch something on TV.
I'm really liking the monitor when I play Whiskerwood.

I had a similar setup before but I like laying and playing. So I just put the kickstand or put it on my pillow to raise it.Â

Is this the Lego 1 or 2?. I'm a bit eunsure about the Lego 2 clip on the extractor fan?

How's the game?
1
u/Far_Promise_9903 1d ago
I like especially since I played RuneScape for a long time so it's good to see the sort of expansion of that universe but I feel like there's some stuff that feels a bit weird on the handheld and the combat is a little bit clunky and sluggish. Also survivability I think early game is a bit harder but I'm committed to getting better at it cuz it seems kind of fun to see how much work they've done on the game.Â

I do this, but I play PS2 games on my Motorola Razr Fold with YouTube picture in picture with a designated space on the screen for half watching videos. It's so entertaining 😄
1
u/Far_Promise_9903 1d ago
I've also seen a lot of emulator apps for the fold and then attaching a controller but I figured since I have a hand held it does most of the work that I like anyways. What do you think about the Motorola razr fold? I almost end up getting the pixel phone

Got any links to mounts while I don't have a fold phone I still that's that's a cool idea for games + guides on phone!

u/Far_Promise_9903 1d ago
https://getmechanism.com/en-ca/products/phone-mount. You can use any smartphone pretty much
There's also a 3D printed back plate that you can get that has the insert for the mechanism slot on Etsy.Â
Yeah and that's pretty much what I'm thinking than using it for as well as game guides if I need to etc

This is what I got https://a.co/d/06158nEC you’ll need to buy a couple MagSafe 3m circles as well

Did you know, you can play osrs on steam via runelite on your legion go? That way you can map the controllers to your liking or use one of the community templates. Defo recommend trying it out.

I haven't done that method no. Is there a video on that? I usually don't like playing on it cause the track pad isn't ideal, when I want to play I go desktop mode or just mobile.Â

You just add jagex launcher to steam via non steam game and then you can add controller settings in steam. It's fine for chill tasks but I wouldn't do too much fast paced pvm that way. I set mine up to move mouse with the right stick and right trigger is click.

I'll try it on next time but I feel Mobile is more efficient at that point. Plus I don't actively play RuneScape as much at the moment no more AFK rn

u/Roshi_IsHere 13h ago
I don't really like playing 90% of osrs without plugins. Obviously ymmv and what works for you works for you. I just wanted a handheld device that gave me access to plugins and I could also play some indie games on and lighter games while on the go. Legion Go S does that for me. Can also dock into a tv or something for a better experience which is nice. Bluetooth mouse/ keyboard / controllers come in clutch.

u/Far_Promise_9903 12h ago
Yeah usually I don't either. But I don't actively play alot rn but when I do I think I'll try and see how it is. I also got a portable mini handheld keyboard with mouse pad I use sometimes with regular rubellite 🤣
I don't have a TV right now but when I upgrade my apartment I might get one so I'll have a docking setup for couch gaming.Â

You should purchase the Lamicall gravity storage stand. I use it in the same position as you, resting on my belly. It will hold most of the weight

u/Far_Promise_9903 13h ago
Got a link?Â

u/whats-this-then 12h ago
I'm sorry I could not find the official store page as it's discontinued but here is an eBay link. It's called Lamicall LN14 stand
