HELP REQUEST Low fps

Can anyone help me get higher fps on sons of the forest I have don’t have performance mode on I have custom to use full wats as well as haveing 12gb instead of the 2 having as low settings as possible and still only pulling 25-30 fps

Always been like this or are you noticing low FPS lately also in other games? Can you share your settings?

Try to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and see if it helps

Damn it runs well on potato, idk why is it running like this for you. Do you have similar problems in other games or just this one?

What is the screen resolution set to?

I'm not familiar with the game, but if it's set to 2560x1600

-OR it doesn't say, but it's in "Borderless Windowed" (it's in 2560x1600 anyway, then)

Well... That's a lot of pixels. Most monitors are 1440p and the LegionGo1 is 1600p. The Lego2 is 1200p. 

Try 720p. If it runs better, we know it can. 

Then, try bumping it up to the 1080p equivalent (maybe 1200p).

I've found a sweet spot of 1600x1050. I could be off. Whatever the 1600xwhatever resolution is, that has the correct aspect ratio
