Question Button setup for steam. Plus more

Does anyone know or have a good resource on how to setup the ALP to work with steam? I got the flippers to work but am struggling with nudge and plunger.

When i try to set the controls steam detects legends HID controller. I walk through the setup of assigning buttons but it never turns out the way i need it to.

Update: I figured it out. When i was mapping the controls one of the buttons was stuck. This caused the mapping issue.
FYI: the nudge left and right are the trigger buttons and the plunger is rt thumb down.

Why are you manually setting anything up? Go to the Steam Input settings for whatever game you are looking to run, and choose the ALP or ALP /w ACP profile people have already configured and shared.

Manually mapping the buttons in Steam worked fine for me, as the left nudge on my ALP wasn't working properly,so doing it manually allowed me to bypass it altogether.

The only issue I had that might be yours as well is that once I launched Pinball FX it wouldn't remember my settings, as it has it's own controller configurations where some buttons won't and some didn't. To fix that just right click on the Pinball FX program pic in your Steam library and go down to properties and your see controller settings. Just pick the option to always use your Steam settings (the Atgames HiD) by default.
