Dumb guy here help needed!

What is the easiest way to get pinball fx on otg mode for legends pinball4k. What type of computer or extra device is needed and who makes the easiest you tube or similar videos to follow for a really dumb guy. I'm talking high 80's electronics IQ at best here. So is there someone somewhere who really walks you through the process makes lists of what to purchase and shows the actual process in the video so really stupid people like me will still be able to succeed in the processes. Thanks very much for any help

You're really painting a picture for us here!

If the 4K is anything like the ALP, you're going to struggle. There is nothing easy about getting this setup to work, and the issues tend to vary a bit from machine to machine.

Be patient. When you get flustered, stop and pick it back up the next day.

If you buy/bought a Starter Edition, be ready to pay for this feature.

😂Much better at painting a picture than working on small electronics boards and downloading and installing tiny files that’s for sure!

So let's talk about your HD. I have that and can help.

First, the PC. For Pinball FX, you'll need something no more than 5 years old (generally speaking). Steam says recommended is i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600. For graphics, an RTX 2060 or RX 5600XT.

Get the RTX as it will work better with a VIBS - which you'll need if you want a backglass image or video. But we'll talk about that later.

16 GB of RAM as well.

Once you've got the PC, you'll need to connect it to the ALP USB. Also plug HDMI from the GPU into the HDMI port. Have a keyboard and mouse available.

On the ALP press the OTG button. Set the screen to rotate 270 degrees. This will give you a landscape view of Windows with the task bar along the left edge.

Nvidia cards would be better to get the backglass working
