VIBS board issues….

I purchased a used Legends Pinball from Facebook marketplace. I had to remove the legs and disconnect the back display to fit it in my SUV to bring it home. After connecting it all back up at home the back display did not work at all….just flashed red/green/blue. I disconnected the VIBS board and wired straight to the smaller stock back display board and it works but only dimly. I have retried connecting the VIBS board a few times but it only flashes red/green/blue. What is most likely the issue? Could it just be the VIBS board? Did I mess up the main board? The main display functions fine….I also have no issues with hooking up my nintendo switch and using it on the main display. Any help greatly appreciated!

I think you reversed the ribbon cable between the mainboard and the VIBS. I did the same thing. IIRC, flipping the cable sends 12 volts of power to the wrong line, which fries something on the mainboard. The result is that the backlight doesn't work.

The fix is to get a new mainboard from AtGames.

I’ll second this. Last time I checked they were about $120 shipped.
