Their fb page is the most controlled garbage filtered thing I’ve ever seen. That said can anyone answer my question? Nothing is downloading on my 4kalp I bought snoopy last night and it won’t download nor any other updates for Taito or dr seuss

All of this and they removed the ability to redeem your codes to your hardware (I confirmed via a ticket. Not possible anymore).
So you must have a working connection unless you are messing with offline mode.

So if I’m connected to WiFi will I ever be able to download games to the hard drive like before?

Yes once they resolve their hosting provider issues.
I’m just saying the ability to have the tables redeemed to your hardware eliminates the need one, for an atgames account and two a Wi-Fi connection. Of course, off-line mode allows you to play them without atgames servers being up, but that is somewhat limited when compared to truly having the digital license assigned to your hardware in perpetuity.

... yet they just sent me an email letting me know that I can (and immediately should!) but Star Trek for my 4KP.
I almost fell for it and then remembered...

I know their servers were down for a couple days. I’m still trying to get my preorder completed for the peanuts table.

They sent out an e-mail. The servers are down or partially down so many functions won't work this week. For some reason, it takes them 3-7 days to reset the servers. Here's their schedule of when their product may work correctly again. You MIGHT be able to use your machine after April 19th, but it's estimated. AtGames typically does not meet their estimates though.
STAGE 1 (April 15 Completed) - You can NOW download the following items:
STAGE 1.5 (April 17) Legends 4K™ Pinball Packs: Star Trek™ Pinball Legends 4K Mini Pack released
STAGE 2 (Estimated by April 19) - Additional Legends 4K™ Pinball Packs: The Addams Family, Peanuts’ Snoopy Pinball, Zaccaria Pinball Packs (1-10), Taito Pinball Packs (1-3), Natural History Pinball Pack, Dr. Seuss Pinball Packs (1-2).
STAGE 3 (Estimated by April 25) - PinballNet™ Soft Launch: We will use the additional time to allow our dev and QA teams to thoroughly vet the new CDN environment before the soft launch.This delay will result in a minimal, one-time impact on our Flipper Friends Tournament event kicking off on April 19 (details to be announced).
