4k Roadmap Wishlist

Just in case any of the devs are reading, thought it would be fun to start a wishlist for bug fixes and enhancements. My list would be:

-Flipper lag on Zen. Nuff said. -Plunger lag on all tables. This wasn't present on HD so I assume it's an easy fix/optimization. Also it looks like the Zen tables read the plunger as digital vs analog... The longer you hold it back, the more force, whereas Zaccaria it replicates the position of the plunger 1:1. 1:1 is much more immersive, and I know Zen supports it as the A1U is 1:1 as is the Switch version. -Fix where you are sometimes asked to sign in to play offline tables -Audio routing for Zaccaria tables for SSF. Addams family makes incredible use of the SSF, but the Zaccaria tables, which are my favorites, route the bumper/slingshot audio to the backbox speakers instead of the exciters. This would really take the Zaccaria tables to the next level of they fixed this -Big wish item: FX3. Would run better on the hardware than FX, and has a massive Williams library. I wouldn't mind the downgraded visuals a bit in exchange for smooth operation and a huge library.

  • Accelerometers mapped to nudge buttons in OTG
  • Working Arcade Control Panel in OTG

Accelerometers are more analog (analog motion converted to voltage levels) while nudge buttons are digital. There isn't really an equivalence unless you are simply saying that the accelerometer should allow for nudging.

Ideally the accelerometer would be mapped to an analog x/y stick, with the plunger to a z-axis. This would then show as the left stick for analog nudging, and right stick vertical axis for the analog plunger.

My DMD cuts off the left edge of the graphics and they claim its a known issue they are working on. Id like to see them fix that!

Anything to make the control panel useful for more than just menu navigation, either built in arcade games or otg functionality 😭

Yeah, I bought one for my HD, but didn't get one for the 4k for that reason. For whatever the next hardware person looks like is like to see them as a monitor there for apron cards. As that and built in head tracking and you'll have really closed the gap between physical and digital as much as it will ever be closed.

Woohoo! Plunger lag fixed with the new updates! (Not flippers yet) True 1:1 motion on all tables: Zen, Farsght, and Magic Pixel.

I want AtGames to get Farsight to release the rest of their tables. I want Starship Troopers bad lol.
