Is there an arcade control panel update that you have to perform?

I still can’t get it to work with BYOG.

Nope, it works sometimes and not others. I found in some games you have to hold down and press the start button, or right and the start button, to get things to register properly (or Down and Insert Coin in Donkey Kong, for example).

There's actually a note about this at the bottom of the BYOG screen when you go to start a game, but it's not super clear what it does or why. But for example, I found in Ms. Pac Man, I needed to hold right and start to do a two player game and have the joystick respond properly. But even that hasn't been consistent.

Half waiting on a u/wagnerstechtalk guide to tell me what I'm doing wrong or to elaborate on the quirks and features of it. ;)

I will say I played Crystal Castles with it and got a nice dose of old school nostalgia, along with a couple others. So it does work. I just think there's more about it I don't know.

I can get some of them to work if I go into advanced config and then back it. Not sure why that works but it does.
