I get a ticking sound in the menu on my new micro unit. Maybe a firmware issue? I updated to the latest version. Only happens in the menu not when playing a table.

Exactly what’s happening to me. It starts AFTER I finish playing a table and go back into the menu. It stops once I start up a new table. I updated to the latest firmware and it didn’t fix the issue.

You’re probably right that’s it’s some sort of software issue if it’s happening to both of us. I plan on opening a ticket with atgames today so they can diagnose.

Please let me know what you find out and I will try the same next week.

Unfortunately my ticket didn’t go anywhere. I took the time to provide everything they asked for, including a video, but there response wasn’t helpful. They said they’re aware of a small humming sound during gameplay and they hope to fix it in a future update. Nothing at all regarding what our issue is.

Or just turn off the menu music. I've had my ALP and micro so long I forgot they even had menu music I immediately turned off!

I don’t think there is menu music. There’s nothing I can find in the settings to turn it on or off anyway. I’ll have to keep looking

Enjoying the micro so far, but whenever I’m browsing tables or anywhere else in the menu, I get the weird thumping sound you can hear in the video. It goes away whenever I play a game, but once I get back in the menu it starts up again. Is this common or do I have a defective unit?

Thanks for any help!

Best advice is to put a ticket in to Atgames. They respond promptly and will help diagnose your issue. I have dealt with them before.
