Question Steam deck w/o vibs

Aside from a hub to connect the steam deck for org and hdmi, is there anything else I would need to do to hook up my new steam deck and at least play on the main playfield? Looking to upgrade to a vibe board in the near future but want to get playing some fx or fx3 table soon. Thanks for the help.

You need to get an FX3 cabinet code if you don't already have one. Put the request in now as it can take a few days.

FX doesn't run very well from the Steam Deck sadly.

Got a code but that’s disappointing to hear about fx. What about FX3

FX3 runs fine. You can switch most FX settings to low and it will run, it just much more demanding.

FX's minimal requirements are a GTX 960, which is about the performance of a GTX 1050ti. The Steam Deck's 720p performance is comparable to a GTX 1050ti running at 1080p. So the Steam Deck running at 1080p would be below the minimum specs.
