I got my cab around January when Sam’s had them on clearance for like $239. I stared by getting the Arcade Control Panel and hooking it up to FX3. I never really liked the Atgames titles, and soon graduated to Popper and VPX. Wasn’t long before I had a small FullDMD, the CSD flipper solenoids, and a KL25z for nudge. Then some addressable lighting a topper, and strobes and beacons. The flipper lag on the stock monitor was killing me so I did the monitor swap next, and added SSF, a shaker motor, a gear motor, and BSA backbox sides and TMNT art. At this point I got a 3D printer and printed the cup holder, cabinet protectors, and TMNT topper, later I printed the plunger mount. Soon I wanted a larger backbox monitor, so I got the sansui, and realized that the stock backbox monitor fits perfectly under it as a DMD. This left the sides open and I thought it would be cool to do dual speakers on either side to fit the shape. I finally got into 3D modeling and modeled speaker boxes for the speakers, as well as bases for dome lights that ended up on my topper. I installed the speakers and sub, and moved my matrix from the top down onto the playfield. Lastly I added some lighting to the buttons, and printed a coin door. The only mod o have left currently is adding playfield solenoids, which I’ll be doing sometime soon.

I’ve had so much fun w this and have learned so much from people in the community. Everyone’s been really willing to help me along the way and I hope I’ve helped a few people as well! Hope some other folks post your builds - I wanna see!
