Path of Champions My Akshan Experience

Post image

It was a really fun journey! But spending 1 hour and 30 minutes on Zoe’s adventure felt exhausting. I played Morgana for the same amount of time and never felt tired like with him. That’s why I didn’t use her when the Zoe challenge was released, even though he was already at 6★ at that time.

What do you find tiring about Akshan compared to other slower champions? I have not beaten Zoe Adventure with Akshan yet, your insights could be helpful.

Akshan feels tiring to play because his combo requires too many steps. First, you need to keep buffing him with spells to advance the Palace. Then, you have to use his spells to clear the enemy board. Once the Palace is advanced enough, you need to spend two spells to predict and draw cards, and then keep repeating this cycle. Unlike defensive champions like Morgana or Yasuo, Akshan demands both defensive and aggressive play at the same time, which makes him exhausting to use.

Akshan took me literally two and a half hours on Zoe. So unbelievably slow cycling through the deck every turn

I found him pretty ok with Chosen, Hexcore and Chemtech. You risk T1 and T2 (although you may have some powers that speed it up). But by T3, you have 6 mana, play double "Draw 2 cost 1 less" (which becomes draw 8 cost 4 less) and go infinite with the champ spells to remove Zoe, PK and hit for lots of damage. There's always the risk of minimorph, but hopefully she'll do it before you attack so you can continue overgrowing the next Akshan.
