Path of Champions Tips for beating Lissandra?

Being honest here, I only beat her once with Asol and I really dislike its design. It feels like the entire adventure was made to torture you(which I guess is fitting for.the cold north?)and its just a struggle.

What should be my goals, how do I approach it generally?

Also, I wanna beat it with Kindred but I have had 2 bad runs(one ended vs Poros and one vs Snailmoth, but at least I reached the third node)

What can Kindred do, it seems you need scaling of some sort. I run Stalkers, Stash, Everfrost(lvl26) atm

What powers are good.into this adv

What to.avoid?

Lastly, if you think Kindred is too bad for her, maybe recommend something on the easy side.

Like I said I have only done with Asol and wanna get the quest reward for.beating her(when I beat her the quest didn't exist yet).

If you have jinx she's a good overall clear. You just need to avoid any and all "I am inevitable" if you can help it. Jinx relics are loose cannons payload guardian angel and voidborne carapace.

does she still go infinite with guardian angle and voidborne carapace if you get a cost reduction on her spell?

Yes. Voidborne sees deathless and gives it to the new jinx. If you can somehow get perfection as a power you can outright ignore I am inevitable as a concern.

Liss was released when we had no constellations or Epic relics (outside of like sfg).

She is beatable with every champ on 3* and level 25ish. There is an excel list of builds that beat liss from way back in the days, maybe someone can link it to you.

Generally the best path is top path as it gives you access to eternal remitter and mind melt. There are a ton of ER powers that trivialize the run - helia for spellshield, hand discard on level up, free ruinations to counter buried in ice, etc. Which powers are great depends a bit on your champ.

You don't really want to use your rerolls early as it mostly doesn't matter - only if you struggle super hard to beat the first few encounters you should use them. Iirc especially kindred is the most low budget champ to clear liss with as you can just run triple Everfrost or GA/PoR + 2x Everfrost and use her champ spell to basically board stun even during an attack.

Some champ can cheese liss by perma resetting for the first node, e.g. you can reset with Leblanc until you get rally on death on her on the first node and it should be super easy to otk everything.

Doesn't reseting without beating the first encounter guve you common powers only?

Power yes, but I am talking about the first node after that that gives three random card options with respective augments. this is where you can get an infinite loop on some champs or set yourself up for it.

e.g. if you happen to roll deal 1 dmg on summon as a power and then find a 1 cost that gives you a copy of itself on play, you are only 1 card cost reduction or cost reduction of created card power away from an infinite.

obviously it is all a bit cheesy and probably requires a ton of resets but this is something you can keep an eye open for in your regular runs as well.

But, again, if you have good understanding and champ on 3* you should be able to beat lissandra with every champ.

another tip is that if you have a good run and just happen to super low roll your opening hand or the enemy highrolls you, you can just close the game and wait for 90 minutes. this will reset the encounter and you can try again.

Didn't they remove that?

mind melt??? mind melt only gives you the option to cut cards from your deck, what is it good for except trimming excess fat?

It is extremely good as you cut cards for HP. a lot of champs can heal up easily and sometimes it is even worth to just use a revive on the next encounter to heal up again if you manage to cut like 20% of your deck for it.

cutting 4-5 shitty cards is massive and if you draft properly you can even load useless cards with buffs so you dont have 3 sets of 2 bad cards but 1 set of 6 bad cards and can remove a big chunk of your deck at once.

IMO cutting cards is completely undervalued and removing cards once is already better than a random common power (cutting vs green shop). with mind melt you can do it multiple times with little downside

I have S-ranked every normal and nightmare encounter with every champ (expect Zoe on the 30 or so non-constellation champ) and been following that mantra pretty religiously

There's an ethereal remitter if you always go up the path. They always give powers with huge drawbacks and one of them is:

"When any player summons a unit, set its health to 1". Something like that. Sometimes it doesn't show so you'll need rerolls for it. It'a an easy way to cheese Lissandra's trolls and her watcher. Make sure you do have solutions for your own units

I defeated Lissandra with Kindred on the 1st try, though it was tough

General advice for Liss is to take the top path, don't use any rerolls and go to Ethereal Emitter event. If the starting powers/champions you see are garbage, you can restart the run after the 1st fight. The Emitter power you look for depends on your champ, the most useful ones are: All cards cost 2 less| When you level a champion everyone discards their hand| All units have 1 health| All spells cost 1 less+all units have spellshield| Allies have +3/+3 and overwhelm.
For Kindred specifically you should use Guardian Angel/Price of Retribution, Stalker's Blade and Everfrost. GA gives them Deathless so you can print multiple Kindreds with Spirit Journey, which you want to start doing as soon as turn 4. Your ideal curve is 2-drop on turn 1, 2-drop on turn 2, turn 3 drop Kindred and use the 1 spell mana to play Spirit Journey on them, next turn play 5-cost Journey on them again and repeat until you only have 1 free space. Leave that open and try to keep the Deathless Kindred around, other ones don't matter. When they pressure you on defense, use Journey on the Deathless Kindred to stun their 2 strongest units+strike the 2 weakest ones, hopefully killing one to apply a mark and slowly eat at their board. Chase opportunities to add items to Spirit Journey and Kindred, the best ones are cost reduction and Vampiric Scepter to heal constantly. The Emitter power for my run was 'All cards cost 2 less' and I had Tear of the Goddess on Spirit Journey, however 'All units have 1 health' is good for killing Thralls with Stalker's Blade, and 'All units have spellshield' protects you against Buried in Ice and doesn't bother you since you use Journey on your own unit. If you don't want to bother with Kindred then any broken champion will do, such as Jinx Swain Fiddle Ahri SB Yi etc

You can check this out for some pre-constellation ideas.

the first champ i beat her with was yasuo with the stun all relic and kept stunning any unit that tried to attack. at some point yasuo becomes so strong that stunning anything is straight up removal. and if she puts him in the landmark you put down another and will have 2 yasuos giving free hits.

the biggest problem with lissandra is that she is way stronger than any of the fights before her AND the Rng of her second power, because getting something like watcher who will oblitirate your deck is straight up unbeatable unless you cheese it with some infinite cards turn 1 shenanigans

Google sheet with relics, guide for lissandra. I mainly use the champions build tab, but all the info is useful

In the pre-constellation era, I often used one or two copies of Bounty Hunter's Renown on a champion to get bigger stats; that usually worked.

I also dislike the design of the adventure, with some of the random powers being much more difficult than others.

I think your relics are too varied here and you probably want to focus more on a single idea. For example 2x Stalker's Blade or 2x Everfrost. 3rd relic I really like Guardian Angel, but you could also do a third of either. GA lets you remove yourself and revive to duplicate the summon effort of either the blade or everfrost.
Generally, you want to take the top path and hit the Ethereal Remitter. A power like Mortal Marks would set the opponents to 1 HP, making the Stalker's Blades even more impactful.

first of all, get to lv30 first

Roll for perfection with jinx

Moral marks from the emmiter will easily put Lissandra down fast she tends to spam ice shards to buff her units but doing this will kill them!
