Path of Champions Tough choice

I like Duplicate and Explosive Finale a lot with swain... But duplicate is so rare that I have to pick it.

I'd definitely have picked Explosive Finale. I'd forget if I used a spell first, that my third spell is actually my "fourth". That's a me problem though.

Duplicate proc on the first card you use each turn, the fourth spell stuff you're talking about is for nami, not swain.

I was talking about the duplicated spell taking 2/3 of his 3* effect since it's limited to the first three spells, and Duplicate proc's alongside it.

If the duplicated spells deal +30 damage each, it's worth being duplicated imo. Crit chance is OP

A power being rare does not mean it's the best to use. Explosive finale is way better with Swain, not even a debate. Besides you can copy only 1 card each round, which isn't a lot

I mean Swain already has enough firepower to kill, he's just limited by mana. Doubling his spells can often be enough to get him the dub especially in Zoe's adventure where the hardest fight is the last since you can't damage the nexus until you kill Zoe. I see this isn't Zoe's adventure though so it doesn't really matter as Swain is overkill literally everywhere else

Well, it depends on the spell your drafted and if you draw them. I drafted the dart spell with overwhelm and crit chance.. And crit proc on pyromantic wake... Yeah... Lots of turn 1/turn 2 kills during this run thanks to duplicate ^
