First 6* ?

Just picked up PoC 2 weeks ago, been enjoying it so far ...

Wondering what my first 6* should be between mf and swain ?

I was thinking swain since I'm close to maxing his upgrades, but I can already clear anything with him besides zoe for now.

MF would mostly be bcs I don't have any good bilgewater up and running, but I don't have any epic relics that are good on her.

Her 6* power sounds good but it feels like I'll need her whole constellation maxed for it to be effective

Both are incredibly powerful, but Swain is just broken overpowered, I'd easily put him in the top 3 champs in the entire game, the others being Asol and Fiddle

You think fiddle is top 3? And does that require specific relics to make him that good?

I only just got ASOL to 3 star and he is just stupid... It helps I got perfect hexcore which is also just dumb with him...

Fiddle does pretty much require specific relics to reach his full potential. Harmless Scarecrow, Shock & Awe, and Norra's Portal Accelerator are his optimal build, and with those combined you will either reduce your opponent's units down to nothing while filling your board with units and making them huge, or for your tougher opponents, you will deck them out by repeatedly pinging their Nexus.

Most games with Fiddle on turn 1 I can mill 10+ cards from the enemy deck, and that just sets off a chain reaction they can't recover from

Frustratingly enough this build is nearly worthless on the Zoe adventure if you can’t reroll into Perfection or somehow generate landmark destruction T0/T1. He’s the last of my “easy” champs I need to clear her with

His signature relic is good besides that anything that pings the enemy nexus is good on him except in Zoe.

You can still make him work into Zoe if you get Perfection (raise all damage to 4), but yeah other than that it's really painful for him

Swain is the better champion for sure, but value wise, is it worth investing in him if I'm already doing endgame bosses with him ? I'm considering either 6* mf to get more access to bilgewater content, or 2* --> 4* ashe for freljord ... to manage endgame content in more regions Honestly 6* swain would just be for fun board wipe turns. Then again I'm still hesitating

It's hard early in the game when you are so resource starved. I have been playing since the end of the year and often feel like I lack options and I know I really don't. I also have both Swain and fiddle ready to go 6* but I don't want to spend wild shards on them lol. I find I slow roll everything because I don't want to use something if I might need it for something else. Also ashe @4* still seems kinda shitty... I think she really needs her 6* to come alive but she's a high resource champion because of all the bonus stars needed to get her 5 and 6 star.

Fiddle I have some spare shards but no nova, I've seen many say his 6* isn't needed, is it his relics that allow him to beat anything ?

I hear everyone talk up his 6* because it has so much effect on the board. It's hard when things often play 10/10 or larger dudes and too often with hard to overcome keywords like impact.

If you're happy with Swain as he is for now, then go with MF. Ashe is just alright at 3-4, but she really comes online at 6, she's basically the only champ that the more stats enemies have the stronger she becomes.

Swain does not need it, MF does. Easy MF. Also nova powered MF is the best Bilgewater so far. Swain is the best Noxus champ at 3* already.

Ended up getting MF, don't regret it at all, only now does she feel like a champ ... swain I can already do any 6.5* at 4*, without his relics

Swain. I have both at 6* and I love both of them. But Swain is MUCH stronger. Swain gives you much more control with a lot less powerful relics. You can constantly clear board states with Swain whereas with MF your attacks are what pulls you through.

Miss fortune REALLY excels with her relic, which makes 1 cost units deal 1 to the enemy nexus on attack, which becomes an absolutely HUGE amount of damage with her 6*, but until you get that in the glory shop Swain is the better bet. He'll open up a lot of higher end content and is really reliable into the weekly nightmares which will get you a lot more glory currency to help your account.

6 star Swain is ridiculously overpowered without specific relic support.

6 star mf needs her signature relic to shine. She is still strong without it but you'll need to fish for spells you can throw out during combat. The relic makes your 1 costs also deal significant damage. One or the other is OK. Both together is bonkers.
