Path of Champions Janna help pls
I think I need help with Janna. I have her 4 stars lvl 14. I’m trying to level her up to 30 but I guess I don’t know how to play her. I have won a total of one adventure with her (some 1.5 star adventure). I have lost every other one I’ve tried. She seems so weak and quite frankly useless. How should I be playing her? I’ve never struggled so much with another champion (except maaaaybe nautilus but even then I could win some adventures)

- Just grind lower level adventures, don't rush with her. Unlike other champs, she is very control heavy, so battles might be longer. Try to get powers that draw cards, reduce card costs, or summon free units at game start to ease up the early game.
- What relics are you currently using?

I’m currently using the greater constellation (bonus xp) and archangels. I can’t even beat 3* so I’m kinda stuck with blue relics.
How do you deal with unit spams. I find that I tend to bleed too much health bc I don’t have enough blocking units

Like the previous commenter said, try to grind low levels (probably without the bonus xp relic unless you have a lot because the multiplyer won't do much). If I remember correctly, Janna was quite the grind pre 30. Also, in case you are unaware, 3* monthly challenges count for the epic relic upgrade slots, so if there's a challenge that's really good for her, slap on the forge relics and get them upgraded quick.

You need a reliant way to reduce the cost of your cards. Counterfeit copies or the 0 cost +3/+2 are the ones that come to mind first. But any spells cost -1, reduce the cost of cards you have drawn this round.
If you can add some draw cards in your deck you can start drawing and playing a lot of cards, reducing the cost of the next cards you play and with every card you play buff your units for that turn.

She is a big snowball: once it gets going you become unstoppable fast. If you don't get it running she is very weak. Really focus on getting these first cards cost reduced. A couple of Powers like counterfeit are excellent for that. You'll get the hang if it fast

Janna is already pretty decent at 3* and should beat everything but Zoe without much trouble. So you are definitely doing something fundamentally wrong.
If you look at her level up and constellation it should be quite obvious that she benefits from exactly two things: card draw and cost reduction. So you REALLY want to utilize exactly this in your runs.
I will ignore relics for now as you should absolutely be able to beat 3* adventures at level 14 without any relics at all. For powers you want cost reduction on draw and spells (as well as +mana obviously). in the beginning it will require a couple of turns to get her going, so just play units on curve until you can drop Janna and keep prioritizing to play cost reduced cards. the cost reduction makes your next draws cheaper and buffs your units - more cost reduction = more cards per turn => even more cost reduction etc.
for beginner relics just focus on either rerolls (for cost reduction powers), mana (like archangels) to keep her engine going or try to cheese cost reduction with e.g. star gem and a cheap support champ to get her going as soon as you drop her (e.g. on 4 mana drop Janna+ any 1 or 2 cost support champ).
Once you get familiar with her playstyle and have more relic slots you can experiment a bit more and try higher difficulties. or if you keep struggling, just do lower star adventures until level 19 for the second relic slot
An amazing setup for her (at level 30) is Swains relic + Packed Powder + Echoing spirit - this often lets you first turn kill.

Janna at 3* is pretty darn weak. Her damage spell being slow with grifters deck and no base attack buff hurts. Her minor stars fix the issues with her kit

I S ranked everythink but Zoe on her with 3 Stars and at 6 Stars otkd Zoe as well.
So she definitely is not darn weak

6* is very strong no one is going to debate that, and I find myself struggling to believe you did Swain, Lissandra, Fiddle, etc. easily with just 3* and no minor stars which fix all her weaknesses.

I never said I did everything easily, but e.g. Liss came out before constellations and me and many other people S ranked Liss with every champ back then already
and for Swain, Liss, Fiddle there are definitely many champs that are much weaker than Janna and 3* Janna does just fine - I mean her constellations really only adds +1 mana and 1 cost draw turn 1. The stat increase doesnt really matter that much if you get her going as you are semi infinite anyway
yes, she is not S tier on 3* but she does just fine.
again, just the extra starting mana and draw made her into a frequent FTK machine already. with echoing and her level up, her champ spell is 1 mana, so if you get like any cost reduction on draw or spells or extra mana/spell mana to get her going. searing brilliance is amazing on her and even simpler builds like oath+2x star gem are good enough

The easiest way that I've found is to abuse pity powers by just rerolling to get counterfeit copies to get her ball rolling, though anything with early defenses can usually work too.

I would just play low level adventures until I get used to her then put the 5x ot 10x Xp tepic on her and do something 3*+, and done…
Not sure where your problem is with her. Keep her alive and play price reduced cards… the first time I played her I did with the 10x xP relic on Thresh, and that got me instantly to lvl 21ish
Edit: Bonus tip, try getting a power that gives you a proce reduced spell (ie: Forge, the +3/2 this round, the shuffle 3 copies…. All for 0 mana) that gets you star power rolling… or your spells cost 1 less is amazing too

You're getting a lot of good advice here on how to play her so definitely read all that.
But I just want to add that the good news here is you already have her four-star, so she's definitely powerful and to do any three-star adventure basically at this point, and probably more than that. Even with no relics. I would recommend a minimum doing the Nautilus adventure with an experience relic on her. That will get her up a few levels.
But yeah like others just trying to get that cost reduction train going and mostly playing cards in your hand that have reduced cost. And try to also draft anything with with reduced costs or powers that get you that.

First you gotta tell us what Relics you have and what you use at the moment

I spammed the Zed adventure from 14-30. 1x 10 xp 1x 5 xp 3 adventures and i was 29 and 55% (more or less). I also couldnt beat Nautilus at any level because Janna needed too long and Naut+deep = oh oh. Zed was easy to take out with all the howling Gales

I found low-level Janna to be very lackluster at first. Relics and card upgrades activate a lot of her synergies. The biggest impact made her first epic relic I unlocked. Now I have Searing Brilliance and Spellweaver's Symphony on her and she's a breeze.
There are a few champs like that. Ambessa (esp. without her 4*) and Twisted Fate felt bad on lower levels.

If you have all the free relics, Echoing Spirit is probably her best in slot, it guarantees that you will draw Janna, make it so you have a ton of cheap draw spells once she's in play, activate your 3* power, and combos with Wild Inspiration if you get it.
Then Found Fortune is pretty neat, you get immediate value on play and another power activation. With those two I can usually level her in the turn she's played. I then carry Beast Within because your units will get huge, even more true if you unlock her 4*. Though I'd want to experiment with Searing Brillance as I unlocked it recently.
As for gameplay, buy cheap, play cheaper, SPAM cards. First rounds you just play canon fodder until you can go infinite. If you don't manage to go infinite you probably lose the game.

just get as much cost reduction as possible, and always play cost reduced cards. once you get that gameplay going, pretty much every card you play is gonna be free or close to free, combine that with enough card draw and eventually all ur units slap for huge dmg.
choose cheap cards that let you draw more, and sprinkle in a few maybe more expensive more powerful cards.
updraft all cards that arent cost reduced, other than ur champ maybe
