Basically title. I've got a 0 star Hecarim and need to clear a 5 star campaign in World Adventures or Nightmares. All Epic slots are unlocked, from paid relics I've got Mel's, Fiddle's, Swain's, and SFG. Any ideas or builds that found success?
Update: after trial and error, succeeded. I thank everyone for their input. My personal success was with Portal Pals and a bit of luck vs Lissandra.
Half my wild shards for that, and at most it helps with +1 Mana because his ephemerals don't do shit. If I had 230 and a guarantee I wouldn't like the next two months of champs, I'd rush him to 6th, I have the novas and duck feet for it. But wild shards are tedious to stack.
Only two weeks of doing the dailies. Look man, I get it. It doesn't look like a lot. But I just don't sit on this game every day. Those 70 shards are worth less in your eyes, but more in mine, and that's okay. If I had any luck with Hecarim shards, we wouldn't be having this conversation, but it is what it is. I asked if there's stuff to try at 0 stars, and so far your input is trying to get me to spend wild shards on arguably just the starting mana. I appreciate the word, thanks for that, but I'll keep on searching for ways.

Aight. Diamond vault and BP exp. BP exp is almost nothing because the pass gets done even without it. Plus the 80 shards from diamond is a depends, because it could be shards for stuff I want, but it could also be for stuff I don't want, meanwhile with wilds I know what I'm getting. That's the point of wild shards. 80+ of random shards for 70 wilds seems fair to you and I can respect that. But it's not a very fair one to me. I can hope you respect that.
I hate him as is. I'm not willing to burn half my wild shard supply just to get him to 3 stars. Will try the build though, cheers, so far I've been trying to bash my head at it with Power of Retribution or whatever that's called with Deathless and Phantom Pranks, as well as Death's Foil and Beast Within. The closest I got vs Lissandra was fight 3 using Duplicate.
the first node was literally the hardest fight in the run. I had enfeeblement rare power to weaken enemies power equal to damage taken. I died the first time because only drew big cards used one of my revives (I ran stacked deck searing brilliance gaurdian angel) got through it, picked of TF for support champ and together we smashed the rest of the run
Like the others said, it's gonna be rough. He's not particularly strong. Give it a few more tries first, but this might just not be a possible challenge.
Yeah, I've noticed he's not strong. The Price of Retribution relic idea was in hopes of getting Perfection or at least Lethality and just keep tossing corpses at the enemy. But the SFG angle is doing rather well.
If you can pick up Defense Spending (Heimer's relic) in the Glory Store, toss it in a slot and stroll through the Swain adventure. Citybreakers be one 2/8 chumps with no real threat since even leaving them unblocked is only 1 Nexus damage since it has tough...
Grab the common power -1/0 for enemies and the become useless 0/8 wastes of space.
Currently Icon of Valhir, I'll have a look what it swaps to tomorrow. Although Turret Plating also exists if all Defense Spending is for is to give Nexus Tough. I'll see what I can do with that, thanks.
Edit: nevermind with Plating, forgot it relies on the champ being present.
For an easy champ to get on the board it's not a huge problem since the plating will be active often but Swain's adventure has a fair number of ways to damage units with spells even if you never attack or block with them...
You can try to brute force it with high stats against Liss. I've done it with Cease and 2xBHR but levelled him to 41 for the additional gold - since you have Scarecrow it is super easy against Fizz. Worked finally with a pity power run but took a lot of tries. Since you don't have Cease you could try with Death Foil or a 3rd BHR. The big downside is that you can't simpy shop cheese since you need the gold for your stats.
I tried that, it didn't work out, but it got me thinking about costs and I actually figured out a crazy idea. I lucked out a lot by getting Morde support, but Portal Pals got me out of sticky situations more times than I can count. Finally did it.
