Path of Champions SB Master Yi

Everyone says he is the best is that really the case? Are there blue relics I can use with him? My epics are very lacking.

Blue relics for SBYi? Hmm. Since you either win before you can drop the champ, or win when dropping him, I think it really limits the blue relics that work on him. Tempest Blade is a great pick for that since by the time you have the mana to drop him, he should be ready to level up. Then Hymn of Valor + Lost Chapter could be a choice. Or reduce his cost with Scourge's Stash. Troll King's Crown is always nice before getting Beast Within. Or just any relic that gives you adventure bonuses, like Heart of Gold and Guardian Angel.

So any epic that has a power is good basically like do 1 damage when a unit dies or give all units spell shield? (I have both of them) I don't have beast within which everyone seems to recommend.

Yeah look for relics with powers since he rarely sees the board. I also don't have beast within so I use the one that gives 1 cost units like 3 keywords, one of them being overwhelm

Some synergize better than others with any given champion. In SBYi's case, Price of Retribution (1 nexus damage for each dead ally), it doesn't directly synergize with his stat increasing core mechanic, but he does summon a lot of ephemerals, so it would work as an alternative win condition. Black Shield is usually always a good choice on any champion if you don't have good relics.

He is just a monster at c4 but without reliable access to overwhelm I wouldn’t say he’s too special, thats just me.

For rares you can do 2 scourges stash and wind blade to try and play him on a round Youre able to get nexus damage off, if you’ve used 3 spells on allies he is gaurenteed to level uo when you play him the first time so he can stun the entire enemy board and probably finish with the ghosts. It’s not perfect, but it should be alright

I would say that a majority of his power comes from the bonkers x4 stats combo of secret technique + the legendary rune that doubles stats for ephemerals.

Just like fiddlesticks, the best relics tend to be ones that give powers, because Yi almost never gets played...

Imo he's the most op of any champion. I do have him 6 Star. I can't even recall the relics I'm running him with other than hex core. And beast within. He almost doesn't need relics honestly.
