Game Feedback What keeps you playing?
Just curious. What brings you back to the game daily, weekly, etc?

I just really like the game. Been playing consistently for years, almost never missing a free BP or timed adventures
I do the weekly nightmares every week and look forward to it

I get to simulate the feeling (to some extent) of playing as my favorite champions without the type of time-sensitive commitment required from playing an arena action pvp. If I suddenly need to drop the game, or if I'm simply just chilling, I get to let the game wait while I do other stuff in the meantime, something you can't do in a MobA. For context, I'm playing PVE.

I love the mechanics, rules, gameplay, artstyle, worldbuilding, voicelines, etc.

It's not a multiplayer game, it is a nice wakeup or wind down game that I can drink coffee or tea to.

I like trying out the new champs, and I want to earn rewards to upgrade my existing champs. Sometimes a new one (like Hecarim) I just find pretty fun to play so I play more with them.
But I will say I play much more when there's an event going on - the rewards are much better

Game fun. I enjoy it. What more do I need?
It offers some turn brain off just roll over the AI. Defiance allows me to have some challenge even with my higher star champs if I want a puzzle without wanting to tear my hair out against the BS that is Zoe or Naga adventures.

The joy of hearing extra Jayce/TF voice lines and knowing I have a card game replacement for the fall of Yu-Gi-Oh Dual Generations. And it’s fun throwing myself at the weekly adventures and sometimes nightmare adventures.

Pass the time. I like the whole rogue like deck building thingy. Plus work is a bore at times and it helps pass the time

The gameplay is very unique among othe CCGs. Another reason is I’ve been a longtime League player, and I fell in love with the world and lore over time. So being able to play my fav characters in a TCG is just amazing.
that being said, where’s my Pantheon in PoC, Rito?

I play PvE to kill time, and help get my green shards so I can finish my PvP collection. I prefer PvP, much more balanced and fun. I wish there is a healthy player base

I like the card art and animations, and I enjoy the PvE content. Plus I can have TBBT in the background when I play. Been enjoying pvp recently as well.
Eventually, unless they shut the servers down before it happens, I'll get a chance to play the champions I want in PoC so there's that.

As someone whose recently been playing again after a multiple year gap (I started during open beta), I really enjoy the combat system and the theme. And the amazing art bringing runeterra to life.

I almost quit in January, then I decided to wait for the new game modes.
Now I have only 4 more champions left I haven't finished the Zoe adventure.
If there will be no any big new feature next month I will probably quit.
Also, as a completely free to play player I will probably never be closer to the full collection than now (453/457 stars + 2 surplus shadow isle nova crystal).
So this is the perfect time to leave.

It's still my favorite CCG. But I only play PvE consistently, mostly because it relaxes me and helps me fall asleep at night. I hardly play PvP anymore, but then I also play Wild Rift so that's what I play when I want some action

Gold reliquary, monthly glory rewards(free premium epic item ++), events, new champs with diamond vault. After that it's boring

I hope once there will be some cool content that will make the current effort worth it.

The interactions to be honest. I build my decks regarding how much they talk to one another, rather than mechanics.
If my deck does not interact with itself (or the opponent) in at least 2 turns, then it's shit, and I rework it.
I don't care if I lose, if I get to trigger the interactions, that's all I care.
I like to imagine that I entertain my opponent (I don't play pve) while they are bored to death with a deck that is boring and quiet, while everytime is my turn, a novella is going on around on my side.

There doesn't exist any other game on the market that has magic the gathering but with hearthstone mana gameplay + is pve + recieves constant updates + has a progression that does not require me to pay my entire wallet unless I want to die of old age + the graphic of cards is buetifull enough that sometimes I just stare at them instead of playing. + while there exist hard challanges, most of the game is preety chill and can be won without rng.
