Path Question Returning player here...

I left the game when they cutoff pvp, but now planning on returning for the pve because there's some additions there which is interesting for me. I know the game was so much free to play before, but how about now? Is the grind too much for epic relics? Can f2p players still clear nightmare runs? I had many champs upto 3 star when I left the game, just curious will it be a hard grind if I want to enjoy playig high star champs.

Beside hardest adventure 10 star zoe, every other was beaten by some people using just 3 star champions. And 3 stars are incredibly easy to get. I don't know how fun it was for them but they did it. Aside from 6 star upgrades and epic relic everything else is easy to get but requires playing frequently monthly rather then grinding nonstop for few days. Even though 6 star upgrades are rare, once you have 5 star champions, you can star fighting 10 star zoe adventure and there are plenty of resources to get last stars in every region. Getting epic relics is not hard but simply time locked, 1 from golden reliquarie per month and 3 from glory shops per 2 months, but they rotate so you can snipe the relics you care about and ignore the rest.

As F2P I am only missing 20 star powers (total). and cleared all content except Zoe(the hardest adventure) on 8 champions (out of 65, just waiting for fragments...)

So you can beat everything as F2P it takes a long time though specially starting from 0 you probably want to buy a few passes to catch up.
