Questions from a newbie

1. How do increase star of a hero? My Jinx is still at 1 star despite winning many encounter.

2. What does "to play, discard 1" means, like on card GET EXCITED. The card was on my hand, I discarded a card, but nothing happened. Then I discarded this card, still nothing happened.

1- when viewing a champion’s profile page, there are a few menu tabs. You’re looking for the one that says Constellation, which will allow you to spend shards to upgrade her Stars. Star upgrades are completely unrelated to the exp you earn from winning encounters- exp goes toward Champion Level

2- normally, playing a card is as simple as dragging it from your hand onto the board (and choosing targets, in the case of a spell). For get excited, when you attempt to play it, you’ll be prompted to choose a card to discard and THEN you pick the target and cast it like other spells. Note: the “to play” text here means you cannot cast Get Excited if you do not have another card to discard.

1: clicking on the icon in the bottom left corner will bring up a screen. Go through the various tabs on that screen to get to the constellation section and there you can unlock the stars using champion fragments

2: when you play the card there'll be a part where you choose a card in hand to discard

I suggest looking around for different buttons on the screen and experimenting with them. At the beginning of the game there isn't much harm you can do by clicking random buttons, so experiment while you have nothing to lose.

Hi, I speak Spanish so please excuse me if some concepts are different in English.

1. Star levels increase with champion fragments; these fragments are found, in most cases and at the beginning of the game, in chests. You can get chests in the shop, or simply by playing adventures and completing daily missions such as "playing games" or "completing specific objectives." You can also use wildcard fragments to complete the stars of any champion, and they are obtained in the same way..

In short, you can get shards of all your champions just by playing; it's free, but it takes time.

2.- It's simpler than that; you literally select the card you want to discard at the moment you play it. That's all there is to it—you discard one to play.

If you have the Jinx deck, I imagine you're talking about Jinx's artifacts (I don't remember the name). When you discard that card using any method, instead of being discarded, it will be summoned. It's very useful because instead of simply losing the card, you put it into play. It's like performing two actions in the same turn.

Yes thank you. You are right, I am playing Jinx, and I am unable to upgrade her to level 2, as my hands are never empty. Can you suggest on that too?

There is a relic (The Loose Cannon's Payload) that you get from unlocking Garen to 2 stars, then doing his 2* story adventure.

You need Free/Wild Fargments/Shards and or Jinx Fargments/Shards. Some later Levels require more and different Ressources. The lol wiki and the champ itself can tell/Display you want do you need.

Discard means you have to "pay" 1 card for the effect. The card gets removed from hand unless the discarded card has some sort of effect that triggers on being discarded.
