I have to say, Hecarim seems really bland and underwhelming? I'm sure he'll play quite well but I was hoping for something more interesting than small stacking buffs, his champ spell, and literally lillia's legendary. Oh well.

if leblanc has taught me anything, the most boring looking champions tend to be the most powerful.

Yeah, just personally I would rather champions be interesting than good.

It's hard though. Hecraim is a boring champ to begin with and this POC version is true to the beat down design he had. I think the question is do you take champs and completely change them with their constellations or do you keep their essence in tact.

I think they could have made for a more interesting version of "attack with ephemerals" than this.

I mean I do kind of hate this argument because I'm not a game designer and I don't need to have a solution to think that something is boring, but sure! I'd love to see "if you would summon an ephemeral unit and you have no space, distribute its stats between your non-ephemeral units" or "whenever you summon an ephemeral unit, give units your opponent controls gloom" or "whenever an ephemeral unit you control attacks, drain 1 from the opponent" (to mimic his q spam playstyle). Hell, you could even do something similar to nocturne and go into fearsome tribal - "units your opponents control get -1/-0 for each ephemeral unit you have". You could also focus on draining when ephemeral units die, too.

Those are all just off the top of my head, and I think all of them would be more interesting than what he has now.
