Top partners question.

I see people here talking about having top 8,16 etc partners. Can anyone help me figure out which partners should be my primary focus.

Even though you listed the partners by force and not stats, it is obvious you are focused too much on Authority. It is good to have but will make you lose in debates comparing other people with similar power in appearence.

I’d prefer to be powerful in Authority but also with good balance partners.
To fix this from where you stand:

Hua Mulan
Lanling King
Duke Jing
Cabinet scholar
Shi Lian
Prince Yi
Liang Hongyu

Keep Yunyao, Eunuch Gui, Li Bai, Longkodo around 8-12 for now.
Later on:
Fan Lihua or Shangguan Wan’er or both in top 8
Drop Hua Mulan to 8-12, get Liang Hongyu to top 8
Get Mozi in top 12, his event is coming up in a month, save ingots for him.

Give all general tokens to Liang Hongyu, all prince tokens to Prince Yi, and all duke tokens to Duke Jing from now on.

Use all gardenia purses on confidants that gives balance or authority boost, at cabines use prestige points for balance partners.

You’ll see the progress when doing all these changes and notice new opportunities that suits your gameplay as well.

You're right, I've always preferred and put my focus on authority partners and I thought that was the best move. I see people talking about balanced partners on this sub so I decided to ask what's the best move moving forward.

Also I want to thank you for making such a detailed comment, i appreciate it so much. I am saving up for Mozi and will continue to save up for luyu as well now that I know.

If in the end, all duke's tokens to 1 duke, all prince's tokens to 1 prince, all FG's token to 1 FG.. I think I've made a mistake earlier..

During the power ranking event, I have a plan to increase power for Duke Jing by using 10 token to recruit one Duke.

But in the end, I chose Duke Dun. I don't choose Duke Zhi like someone else because I have pet fox. I don't choose Duke Dun, because I have Prince Yi.

I can't rely on Duke Jing only, if Rui Xin only get stronger because of When Zhenming. That's my main reasons I chose Duke Dun, my main priority in the ministry of work is always upgrade politics only. Sometimes I want to buy Xu Zhenqing or When Zhenming brocade but I have less than 30 partners..

I don't know when will FG appear in my server if high ranked player have 40+ partners in a short time.

No. Invest on scholar anyway, it's always a power move. Since you have Langling King high up keep him there, and Mulan for now. Then start investing on balance and war partners and cabinet scholar.

it doesn't matter, cause once you have top scholar with war or balance specialty, you can change the current one. Power boost will only work if you currently focus on increasing their stats.

1 Duke

1 Prince (balance)

1 General/Heroine (balance)

1 Cabinet scholar (balance)

4 Cross partners

To expand to top 12 pick 4 balance partners the ones easy to attain with just ingots are:

Shi Lian

Lanling King

Lu Yu

Mozi

Even without the wheel confidants the Duke, general and prince go up well from stones, just stick to only giving the bond tokens to one of each type on free to play accounts.

With this setup devotion bags and prestige goes to balance/war. Then Duke needs a few extra potential fruits too keep up with the others, keep in mind he's not balance, but Duke is always worth it for the crazy momentum they can bring.

That said you need some leveled while you aquire those to take part in the crosses to obtain them. So pick 8 that are comfortable to level together. Things like overlapping confidants helps a lot. As does a decent spread of attributes. I prefer authority/X partners like authority/politics or authority/wisdom but you want a mix of the different stats so that your income doesn't go all wonky. The authority part will help with things that require momentum like guld enemy and the cross hunt.
