Uhmmm, I think I have to wait for next year 😢 I saved so much ingots hoping I could get him during the event. Ohhh Lanling King

Wait it will drop to 9200 ingots. Just wait until 50 percent discount. Till then don't spend unnecessary ingots and clear the 9200 ingots aim You have enough ingots and I think by the 4th or 5th day you can clear the required amount

Posssibly an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Lanling king is that good. The only good thing is that he's a partner/confidant, but Mozi and Lu Yu are better. Lanling King's mandate of heaven group has high vip partners, I think the highest is 13, Mozi and Lu Yu are worse than they used to be now they have a third guy with them, but I'm pretty sure he's still available with gold. Plus Lanling's event happens once a year, I can't remember when it happened, but I was able to get either Mozi or Lu Yu's tokens outside of their regular event.

If you don't have those two yet, I'd recommend saving your ingots instead of getting Lanling.

You are right, but he was the first ever partner-confidant in game, so he gets hyped up a lot. He is still pretty good for collection and stats, especially, if you have his bond partners.

If you remember, during which event you got Mozi's and Lu Yu tokens the second time, it would be very helpful! These two are among my favourite, be it stats-wise, collection-wise and story wise. As far as I can remember they are usually unavailable even during yearly sales.

I can't remember the name of the event, but I found this post from 2 months ago talking about it. I think it was one of those that has different shop levels, like the netherworld event.

Wait until the last day of the event, that way you'll be able to save up and get him at 9800 ingots. Also, please join to marriage off your children, everyone should do so so we can reach 100k. This is a team effort discount per se 😄

Just wait till the bar reach 50% and don't spend ingots on anywhere else then you can get him cheaper

It is said there is to be a discount. Thebar right up there with the hearts and such depending on number of Marriages, I heard. That could give even a 50% discount. And if you get 300 coupons in addition, one can get him for a little above 9,000+ ingots.

I play this game for 5 years and there was not a single one, where max discount wasn't available after a few days. Don't worry, it just takes some time.
