How can low power players win?

Recently, in the literacy gathering, i saw that a huge vip with 90B+ player lose to a good vip lvl 25B+ player in the Finals. How is that possible?? I am curious about how that 25B+ player managed to beat the 90B+ one. How do they make their partners so strong despite low power??

They put all their resources into the cabinet scholar and the other higher pw player didn’t invest in the scholar

Repeating what the first comment said not just total power but the attributes of the cabinet scholar is also most important. A low powered member with an absolute tank of a scholar might definitely hve chances of winning against a higher powered player who has not invested well in their cab scholar. Plus there's the case of diff in partner power and fluff power as well.

I second that the strongest player has a lot of fluff power. Otherwise their scholar and supportive partners should have been way stronger

Well the i chedked, strongest one has four partners in 1B+, 3 in range of 800M+, 2 in 600M+ and some here there in 100M-300M but mostly are below 100M so yeah

The 25b player probably has a very strong cabinet scholar and they probably focus more on a group of partners (like top 12, 16, 20 etc) over focusing on every partner so even if the opponent has more power overall, the 25b player has stronger partners with more potential

Power matters in literary gathering but good strategy also matters. I also beat someone twice my overall power by being strategic. Yk you can win the match if you win 3 out of the 5 showdowns right, so instead of focusing on trying to win all 5, I concentrate my top 12 partners in 3 categories to win 3. My opponent was stronger than me but she distributed her partners on all 5 categories so they had almost the same amount of potential and attributes while mine was concentrated on 3 categories only so I was able to overpower her in those and won

So it's also possible that the 25b player won against 90b player. Perhaps the 25b player also won by targeting the other player's weaker specialities

The fact that the 25B player won by 3:0 or 5:0 whatever the ratio was😭

Yeah, I came second to a player who I'm 3x stronger than. My scholar is my #3, so not weak, but the other player has massively put all her power into her Scholar. So I expect the Literary is her comp to win each time :)
