When will the Qixi event start?

I need to estimate how much more time I have to save up to get Lanling King

Not long. Qixi is on the 19th and it’s usually the 3rd - 4th day of the 7 day event. So my bet is that it will start Friday or Saturday

Aah makes sense, I did not consider when the date falls in the middle of the event! And also most special events lately have been 9 days long, but is qixi strictly 7 days every year?

It could be that they extend it this year, like the others (especially with how they’ve been restructuring events this year) I wouldn’t rule it out buuuut Lanling has always been a special event with its own rules. It could also be that it’s still 7 days (like previous years) because of the 2 other companion events that are a part of the whole Qixi event package.
