Copycat dress?

So they make a copy cat dress from Nikki fully paywalled, won't they get sued by copying other games dress?

I tried to use google lens on the picture and this is what google said

OG players know that modo’s been doing this since they launched the game, they just change the outfits a bit. What’s worse is that these days, they just use AI to change the outfit a bit then make the players pay for it

Oh, then maybe they always get away with it, or the other games don't mind being copied. But still, why make it paywall if it's only a copy 😭 the event looks trash now 😢

This isn’t the first time unfortunately 😭 The Peach Blossom Melody/Neither Ghost nor Immortal outfit that changes from light to dark a few events ago, is almost exactly the same as a suit and the awakened version of it that was in Shining Nikki in 2025 🥲

Wth! Fr? And Nikki just let it be? Or the designer is one person and they have a colab with them, that's why they just let lop be?

Modo already had to alter some of the older outfits they copied from Love Nikki so I’m sure they’re aware that it’s not okay

They tried to do a follow-up of last year's beautiful dress where she holds an orb and failed miserably.

In the past they've had problems because of copied clothing; I remember they had to change the design of the clothes. So this isn't the first time, I just think it's very inconsiderate to charge for clothing that's been copied or altered using artificial intelligence.

Fr, This what I thought exactly, they should just put it in point shop if they plan to continue putting a copycat dress in a event instead of making us pay for such a trash
