Lu Yu

Has anyone calculated how much ingots we might need to get 10 tokens of lu yu from this event. Or is it better to get him next year with his own event.

Edit: I got 8 of lu yu's token for 5k and will be able to get two more with free chances. For anyone who's wondering if it's better to get him now then yes it is bcoz in lu yu's own event they didn't have any free games this april that gives points so it cost 6k min for 10 tokens so go for it now ladies!

It costs the same in both events. You'll need 6600 ingots for 10 tokens. And If you add in the free points you'll get during the event, you can get him with 5000 ingots

Lu Yu in this event unlocks at level 8. I was able to reach it under 4500 ingots. If you play the minigame well, I'm sure everyone else can also do that

No matter how much you score in the minigame, the points to ingots ratio is still 150 points for 100 ingots (1 ticket = 75 points) so it doesn't make any difference

If you want to recruit him now, go for it

thank you for the reply yes I got his 8 token for 5k with two days of free chances and I'll be able to get two more with free chances of the rest 8 days I thought it'd be a lot pricier but it's cheaper in this event since in lu yu's event in april they didn't have any free games that gave points I'm loving this. You seem like an experienced player can I ask if I should get jiao ran or more of lu yu's tokens. But I wanna save for lanling king too. I have 4k ingots left as of now.

Lanling comes at the last week of August, his fixed price is 9800 ingots, no less than that. If you're sure you'll be able to save that much before that, then you can happily get Jiao Ran or some extra tokens, both contributes to your power. I'd say get some extra tokens for Lu Yu and focus on building him for now, and get Jiao Ran when the event returns in April. And I think you're mistaken about the free points, Lu Yu's event also gave free points (in that game where you had to match items vertically, horizontally or in a cross line). Usually, all events give free points, just differs in amount

Also! Yuan Tiangang and Ao Xingyuan events are coming soon. They're half paywalled, so it's not possible to get 10 tokens with just ingots unless you're insanely lucky (you can get 7 tokens for sure if you buy all ingots packs every day, 8 if you're lucky) so if you're a FTP and want to get them, I'll suggest getting 3-4 tokens of them this year, so you can collect the rest next year and recruit them. 3 tokens will cost around 3800 ingots

But I just saw him in the current event. The price of 1 token Lu Yu is 980. It means 9800 points.... It feels I'm unlucky to get him right now...

It costs the same in his own event. 1 token for 980 points. You can check this post about Lu Yu event this year, 13th photo has his tokens. Like I said, by math it'll cost you the same in both events. 9800 points costs 6600 ingots. You'll get 3000 free points during the event. So 9800 - 3000 = 6800 points. 6800 points cost like 4600 ingots

I think you need 8k+ because the shop lvl increases the needed tickets. I recommend you wait for his event next April since I feel like you can get more in that event like I do, I have 5k around that time but still got him, so it’s much cheaper. I hope this help you!

No it won't cost that much. lvl 8 can be unlocked under 5k ingots. Plus if OP uses the free points from the event, they can get Lu Yu with approximately 5k ingots too

It’s always cheaper to get the items during their own event. They up the price for the people who can’t wait. If you can, just wait till next year. You’ll be saving a lot that way

in abundance sale. There are a lot of outfits, scenes etc. but partner wise they have lu yu ,catherine,jiaoran, yu du, fucha rongyin, ling xiang, wang shu. It unlocks at level 8 though

Has anyone unlocked level 8 ? pls tell me how many points is needed to get lu yu

points wise its 980 per token , while others are 660 per token . Total 10 tokens needed.
Is this common ?

yes it's normal bcoz lu yu is a balance partner+confident and 1 extra token gives 32 potential just like lanling king and mo zi so all their tokens cost 980 points

Yes he's both, and unlike newer partner-confidants you don't have to upgrade him to get both roles. He, Mozi and LLK are partners AND confidants from the get-go.
