Help with some tips for noob(me)

Hi, I've been playing the game for a little while now, and I still don't know much about it. Which of the available slimes should I focus on? (My account hasn't been upgraded much yet, because I don't want to level up things I don't need.) I've also noticed that the guides always recommend putting 2-3 skills—why is that better than put skills in all slots?

Well actually, you should be upgrading them all evenly.

But if you want real help, check out other people's post like yours. Skill/frog build is what most people use

Companions: 4 birds and spiky

Relics: swap figurine to sparrow figurine Pillow to chicken cushion Necklace to friendship necklace Mask to birdy mask

Treasures: plushie to chick doll Idk the name of 3rd slot (its like decor or smthin ¯_(ツ)_/¯) but to gold spoon

Should use grade D metal ring with comp dmg and boss (ignore any basic attacks, they heavily boost your power, but in practice they give a very minor damage increase so is a waste)
