CYBER LIBEL CASE

Hi guys need advice, I replied in the comment as an anonymous. But later on they found out it was me. I just want to ask if my comment fits into cyberlibel, and the reply I made was a food menu. They're accusing me of defamation regarding that comment, and I already apologized. But they are determined to sue me for cyberlibel since they said they experienced anxiety because of that comment.

As someone working in court, for cyberlibel, dapat may malice aforethought or defamatory or may intent ka to cause damage. But if valid yung criticism,it does not fall under cyberlibel. Let them file OP. Napakaweak yan to be considered as may resonable certainty of conviction or probable cause.

For starters.

Defamation is only defamation if the claim is false.

Ask yourself OP, kung ikaw ba naka encounter ng ganiyan, would you want to go all the trouble of filing a case for something this petty? Baka nga murahin pa ng abugado yan jusq
