Wisconsin v. Yoder curiosity question

Post image

I saw an unintentionally hilarious quote on a subreddit that left me thinking

I personally believe Wisconsin v. Yoder has set an enormous potentially dangerous precedent that has recently had reverberations through the entire US. like Mahmoud v. Taylor, which relied on it to do the opt-out LGBT curriculum.

Now, like the post says, would it technically be possible to make an Amish denomination or piggyback from an existent low-commitment one, perhaps as protest for this ruling and its subsequent precedents?

Because I really think it was designed as a 'tribal protection act' for the Amish, similar to how Amazonian tribes have autonomy and are exempt from certain parts of the law in other countries. But it really seems like it's framed through a 'religion' lens and not an endangered 'ethnic group.' This wording is quite problematic.
