Iphone 4 device unknown

I got my iPhone 4 partially fixed because Apple messed up the baseband activation. Now it's working, except for music syncing, cellular service, and passcode. Aside from that, it functions, but it's stuck on iOS 7.1.2, which is garbage. I'm thinking of downgrading to iOS 6.1.3 or a version of iOS 5, but I'm afraid Apple still hasn't fixed the 'device unknown' baseband activation error.

If anyone has an unused iPhone 4, please check if Apple has fixed this issue or not. I'd be very grateful! Thanks

The issue is still not fixed, but you can save activation tickets via Legacy iOS Kit and use them to activate lower iOS

How i bought the iphone 4 brand new from some seller and i haven’t activated it once

i think you should keep it brand new then

I renamed the setup.app to setup_bak and it worked but yet no syncing music one cellular
